Trojan Concrete & Masonry Sealer

Trojan Masonry & Concrete Sealer  is a penetrating polyester polymer and water-based polyurethane used to seal and waterproof all types of concrete slabs, walkways, driveways, brick and block walls, stucco and other types of cement such as ferro-cement, flying cement and shot-crete. It also prepares the surface for finish coatings such as our Exterior Elastomeric Wall Coating.

Trojan Masonry Sealer is easy to apply and is non-toxic, non-flammable, non-hazardous and water soluble. It can be applied with a pump sprayer or electric pump and will not harm glass, aluminum, metal, plants, or aquatic life. However, you should try not to get the material on the glass to save the clean up later.

The Advantages of using Trojan Masonry Sealer are:

* Penetrates and helps to eliminate deterioration of the surface.
* Waterproofs masonry surfaces.
* Ideal preparation for walls or floors prior to surface applications of coatings such as:
           *oil base paint             *epoxy
           *urethanes                  *acrylics.
* Reduces the hydration of water through the surface as evidenced by calcium chloride
    tests.
* Helps to reduce efflorescence when applied to mortar joints protecting the brick or
    stone from the "white bloom".

Trojan Masonry Sealer is NOT intended for use in areas that will be continually submerged in water, such as pools, ponds and tanks. Trojan may, however, be used on the outside of these structures.

Ready to use no mixing or diluting this is a finished product. We recommend first cleaning the concrete or masonry with either NuLook Concrete Cleaner, Easy Brick Cleaner or Enviro Clean Degreaser (a concentrate- one gallon makes ten) Enviro Clean is ideal in that it removes oil, grease and other petroleum related stains from all types of surfaces and is economical. If rust stains are present we suggest using Envirosafe Rust Stain Remover.

The uniqueness of this product is outlined in the H. C. Nutting and City of Cincinnati Garage Analysis Test. This test was designed to compare several water based sealers and the claims that each made as to the penetration, durability, water proofing quality and effectiveness of their products when applied to a concrete surface.

The results, by way of a core analysis test, show conclusively that Trojan Masonry Sealer penetrated and waterproofed the concrete. Additionally, after submerging the core in a 50/50 solution of blue tap water to propyl alcohol for 56 hours at the same hydrostatic head there was NO PENETRATION to the core treated with Trojan Masonry Sealer.
